The Embassy Security Commander

Let's do a character intro comic for Master Sergeant Hayes, head of the Marine Detachment at the Kogana Embassy.  He presents a security briefing to Ambassador Panks as she lounges by the pool. The Burandan front of the Ostrich War just became a dangerous place. Two Zamundan Divisions have crossed the border and are holding territory. They appear to be tied up in the jungles North of Buranda Pass, but that could change quickly. General Muratta is not as steady an ally as Mbuni might want, and may stand his forces down and give the Zamundans passage.

Eliminating 206 for the best

Yalala as antagonist

Okay. Using  Yalala  as the bad guy for this story works for me.  A.) She has access to both modern tech via her Zamundan alliance  B.) And she has magic from her court sorcerers and whatever else she recovered from Atlantis. C.) Reestablishing an Atlantean state might be something of an obsession for her. The loss of the island and her people' ending up petrified is a mark against her. So rebuilding Atlantis is a worthy goal, no matter the cost.    D.) She was from a time when warfare was more personal and brutal, and you truly earned your title at the end of a sword.The idea of taking slaves, and a scale of brutality in her troops that wouldn't be acceptable to The Hague is just the cost of politics.

Going back to the Lady Venus/ Young Crusaders

So I have abandoned  The Team Up  between Lady Venus (in the disguise of Nite Girl) and the remaining Young Protectors. The big thing with it I was uncertain who the bad guy was and what their objective was. I was considering  Marto  the giant brain as the antagonist. He's still a possibility,  but maybe I should figure out a more Odd verse style plot and resolution. I was planning Martha would be losing her clothes in the fight, so by night's end she's naked.  Maybe Marto, real name Martin Hall, is really just in need of a caretaker. His physical disability makes it hard for him to do much on his own and so all his criminality is just to fund a decent quality of life.  Since the Young Protectors are Kate Kerrigan's project,  she would not be in favor of the kids being under the influence of an Odd adjacent hero. Since Martha has a tendency to solve super villain problems with better business plans, why not set him up as a roboticist working on ad...

Here we go again.

I have gotten back in the habit of using Blogger since I'm at work and have downtime to write.  I originally set up this blog to mirror my comic, but I never really posted anything since I had Deviantart and Comicfury to host the pages. So I let it lay dormant with a single post. Now I have decided I'll use it for more personal work. Plotting out ideas, making notes and generally dumping my brain here where I can get to it easily. Since I have never advertised this blog or linked to it, it's private, but it's still open so anyone reading will see it, so far warning to expect spoilers for my comics here. Right now,  I have five pages of my Gwenna meets Abraham Lincoln story. Plus I have an ending page with Gwen of Earth-N. I still need to figure out how I am connecting everything.  1.)
